We would rather you did.
If you or someone you are cooking for reacts to something, tell us before you order and we will tell you straight whether we can do it safely. Nothing about that is a nuisance to us.
What we can tell you
We can tell you which of the fourteen regulated allergens are in anything on the counter. For the things we make out the back — the sausages, burgers, kievs, pies and every marinade on the chicken counter — we have the recipe and we will read it to you.

Ordering online
There is an allergy box at checkout. Anything you write in it is printed on the order in the shop, and the butcher reads it before he cuts. If something in your basket is a problem we ring you before we make it up — we will not quietly substitute or guess.
What is written here is a guide to how we work, not an ingredient declaration for any one item. Recipes and suppliers change. The information that counts is what we tell you about the item you are buying, on the day you buy it — so please ask.
